Week of November 25-26

We wrote with feathers, just like people who lived long ago did! :)

In science, we sorted objects into one of three
categories: objects from animals, objects from plants,
objects that are non-living things.

We went on a Thanksgiving scavenger hunt!

In math, we have started learning about shapes.
We used our 3D shapes to build robots!

We had a feast in our classroom, just as people long ago did!

Week of November 18-22

We had an awesome time seeing Rosie Revere, Engineer and the Florissant Civic Center!

We have been watering our plants and monitoring their growth in science.

We went on an outdoor walk to see if we were able to find any plants growing in areas without sunlight. We weren't able to find any!

In writing, we worked with our partners to figure out how we can add more sentences to our pages to make our writing even more interesting.

 Center fun!

We became Kings of Ing! We wore our royal cloaks and crowns as we recorded words that have the -ing sound in them on each other's cloaks.

We celebrated Hazel's birthday on Friday. Happy Birthday, Hazel!

We sorted our science picture cards into three categories; plants, animals and non-living things.

Grant's mom was our mystery reader.
Thanks for coming in to read to us!
We enjoyed having you!
