Week of February 17-21

We celebrated Sloane's birthday.
 Happy Birthday, Sloane!
In phonics, we worked with partners to make sure that all of the
words in our books have at least one vowel in them.

In math, we used our large number line to compare numbers
and practice the language "fewer than" and "grater than."

We have enjoyed learning about the post office during centers!

Sloane's dad was our mystery reader. Thanks for
coming in to read to us! We enjoyed having you!

We had a great time listening to guest speakers and singing songs
that celebrate Black History during our Black History assembly!
We decorated our classroom door to honor James Milton Turner. Turner is an African American from St. Louis who helped with the Civil Rights movement.
